Packaging distributor TricorBraun announced Monday that it has added a new warehouse near Montreal, which officials said establishes a “local presence” in one of Canada’s “most important logistics and manufacturing hubs.”
The Laval facility, the company said, would bring TricorBraun’s inventory closer to its customers in Quebec and, in turn, bolster delivery timetables, product availability and supply chain flexibility. It would also provide “optimal” access to routes that serve the surrounding region and “cross-border markets.”
TricorBraun Canada Regional Vice President Yvan Lapointe said in the announcement that the addition reflects a “continued commitment to strengthening our Canadian operations.”
The company said that it is pursuing both LEED Silver and Zero Carbon Building certifications for the new facility.
