PACK EXPO Coverage: Presentations to Help Brands Differentiate Their Packaging

PolyOne Corporation announced that Greg Dixon, director of packaging application development, PolyOne Designed Structures and Solutions, and Sharon Derbyshire, industry manager, packaging, PolyOne GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers, will deliver presentations on the Innovation Stage next week at PACK EXPO.

LAS VEGAS (PolyOne) — PolyOne Corporation, a global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, announced today that Greg Dixon, director of packaging application development, PolyOne Designed Structures and Solutions, and Sharon Derbyshire, industry manager, packaging, PolyOne GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers, will deliver separate presentations on the Innovation Stage next week at PACK EXPO (Las Vegas), the world’s largest packaging and processing event.

Dixon’s presentation, titled “Ten Questions to Ask When Considering the Transition to Form-Fill-Seal for Dairy Products,” will clarify form-fill-seal technology and its ability to help brand owners streamline production and more profitably serve the consumer multi-pack and single-serve portion market segment. Dixon will present on Monday, September 23, at 1:00 p.m. on Innovation Stage 2.

Derbyshire will describe how TPE-based solutions can add functionality in easy-opening, dispensing and closing applications in her presentation, titled “Thermoplastic Elastomers… What Are They and How Do They Add Value in Packaging Applications?” Derbyshire will also focus on enhancing brand recognition through ergonomics, and will present on Tuesday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. on Innovation Stage 3.
