The TKO VertiCool door is designed to work in conjunction with vertical storing dock levelers. While the primary benefit of the TKO VertiCool is energy efficiency, it also addresses concerns coastal facilities and some inland areas have with hurricane force winds. To acquire the hurricane zone approval, the TKO VertiCool door underwent a series of stringent tests proving it withstands pressures of +52 and -52 pounds per square foot, enough to remain intact through straight-line winds and hurricanes. The TKO VertiCool is both more cost effective and more energy efficient than a 4” thick vertical rise cooler door.
