Janitorial and sanitation product distributors Imperial Dade and BradyPlus have closed on their merger deal, company officials announced Thursday.
The companies originally announced a merger agreement last summer. The newly combined business, officials said Thursday, would offer increased scale, enhanced product lineups, a broader geographic footprint and additional customer service capabilities for jan-san, industrial packaging and foodservice products across the U.S. and Canada.
Imperial Dade CEO Jason Tillis will lead the combined company as CEO. BradyPlus Chairman and CEO Ken Sweder will serve on the company’s board; Manny Perez de la Mesa, a longtime Imperial Dade board member and the former CEO of Pool Corp., has been appointed board chairman.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This is a transformational milestone for our customers, employees, and partners,” Tillis said in the announcement. “Imperial Dade and BradyPlus share a strong customer-first culture, deep local relationships, and a long-term view of value creation.”
“The combination of Imperial Dade and BradyPlus creates a differentiated platform with strong leadership, a clear strategy, and a deep commitment to customers and employees,” added Perez de la Mesa. “Moving forward, we are exceptionally well positioned for long-term growth.”
