Obama Speaks To Iowans About USDA Purchases

President Obama stopped in Iowa this week to talk to local farmers about the USDA's plan to buy pork, chicken, lamb and catfish from farms hurt by the drought hammering the Midwest. Dry conditions have created difficulties for farmers who rely on corn for animal feed. The USDA's plan is meant to mitigate these losses by providing an addition revenue stream to these farmers.
