Spark Detection And Extinguishing Systems

Spark detection and extinguishing systems are used as a preventative measure against fires and dust explosions. Sensors detect sparks or embers and the system activates countermeasures to extinguish the sparks before they reach the filter, silos or storage systems. The systems can reduce risk of fires and dust explosions as outlined in NFPA 69 and 654.
