Epoxy-Based UV Curable System

Company's UV15 epoxy-based UV curable system is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or other volatiles.

Company's UV15 epoxy-based UV curable system is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or other volatiles. It is also completely free of any oxygen inhibition. The product features optimum transmission properties and optical clarity and is widely used for a variety of bonding, coating and sealing applications. The product cures quickly and easily when exposed to a UV light source with a wavelength range between 320 to 365 nm. It typically cures in thicknesses of a few microns to 0.015 to 0.020 in. in 15 to 30 seconds or less. The product cures by a cationic reaction and produces bonds that have lower shrinkage (1 to 2%) and higher temperature resistance than most UV systems. Its glass transition temperature (Tg) is 90-95°C with a straight UV cure. When post cured for 30 minutes at 125°C, the Tg is 125-130°C. The service temperature range for this system is -80°F to +350°F.
