Reducing Lubricant Misuse

Cassida food grade lubricants have received a complete visual overhaul to ensure that the risk of contamination due to human error is minimized.

Cassida food grade lubricants have received a complete visual overhaul to ensure that the risk of contamination due to human error is minimized. Misuse of lubricants in a food or beverage manufacturing environment due to human error can be common, even with good engineering and operational practices. The use of non-food grade lubricants in these environments causes additional unnecessary risk. The updated product range will feature a clean, white appearance to differentiate it from other non-food grade products, and the range of grease cartridges and aerosols will now be color coded based on application. The new labelling and color coding will allow manufactures to integrate the color system into their HACCP program.
