Anheuser-Busch announced Tuesday that it will invest $15 million in its St. Louis headquarters to, in part, bolster “supply chain infrastructure” at its flagship brewery.

The funding falls under a previously announced plan to spend $300 million on the Budweiser brewer’s operations throughout the U.S. this year.

The brewing giant also said this week that it is expanding two other previously announced initiatives.

The company’s St. Louis “Technical Excellence Center” will be opened to individuals outside the Anheuser-Busch workforce for the first time, including students at local trade schools and those from other groups. The center has helped train more than 2,000 Anheuser-Busch employees since 2022 and offers over 35 courses.

The brewer is also expanding a digital credentialing system designed to connect veterans with employment opportunities at the company.

“Our latest investment in St. Louis is about more than just creating the highest-quality American-made products,” CEO Brendan Whitworth said in a statement. “It’s also about creating opportunity, driving innovation and building a stronger future for American workers, veterans and the entire U.S. manufacturing industry.”
