Level Measurement For Dusty Environments

The "bob" style SmartBob-TS1 continuous level sensor with a sealed electronics compartment is designed for dusty environments. The unit is made to prevent the ingression of dust into the electronics cavity of the product to protect critical components and enhance durability. The unit is accurate and reliable in applications when it is used to measure powders or granular materials in bins, tanks and silos where high levels of dust are present, especially after the filling operation. With the use of a sphere float bob, the product can also be used in a variety of liquid and slurry applications. It offers a variety of communication options including an optional built-in 900 MHz wireless modem, ZigBee compatibility, RS-485 communications and 4-20 mA output to a PLC or HMI.
