The Model T-20, with 20 square feet of separation surface, is the largest of the PACE separators. Designed for dry particle separation, this model is free of "drift" once the controls have been set. Careful control of fluidizing air distribution across the material bed gives the unit precise separation with air. Its trapezoidal deck shape is suited to separations requiring concentration of a "heavy" fraction or simultaneous separation of both light and heavy fractions from a product stream. Applications include separation of lumps and burnt particles from dry extruded food products and cleaning of raw food products such as edible nuts, spices and legumes.
