The TorqLOC® hollow shaft connection features a keyless, taper bushing design that allows simple installation and disassembly. It is engineered for applications where safety prohibits the use of belts and chains. Its non-fretting and corrosion resistance makes it well suited for wet environments. There is no need to cut the drive shaft to remove the gear unit. Unlike a shrink disc that requires a ground shaft with high tolerance, this system can use stock material without machining. It reduces costs for machining, inventory and installation.
