Company's gas cabinet scales can now include a new 4-20 mA circuit board, which is engineered to send the scale signal directly to the main system control panel as opposed to a local display. The new board features a simple two-wire lead which integrates the scale with the main control system. This affords systems enginners a time-saving and economical means of incorporating additional scales into large, existing monitoring systems. The board transmits the scale signal using current rather than voltage. The innate integrity of the current loop permits signal transmission over long distances, past the display to the main system indicator, without being affected by voltage fluctuations, resistance or electrical noise.
