The product is self-aligning and manufactured from a variety of polymer materials, so it is suitable for many operating conditions. In applications where the environment contributes to premature failure of ball bearings, this product may be a good alternative because it operates with no grease, no seals or shields, is unaffected by washdown and does not rust. On modular plastic- and wire-belt conveyors, the bearings can run 12 months without maintenance.
