Putting Food Waste to Work

Christy Porter founded Hidden Harvest after learning that 40 percent of the nation's food supply goes to waste. The company in California's Coachella Valley "rescues" excess produce from farm fields and works to delivers it each month to 60,000 senior citizens and poor people in need of food.
