KANSAS CITY, Mo., August 10, 2018 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Hostess Brands, LLC is issuing an allergen notice to alert consumers that Hostess Chocolate CupCakes, Chocolate Ding Dongs and SnoBalls, in multipack and single serve sizes, now contain whole eggs. Previously, an allergen notice was issued through Food Allergy Research and Education and Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team, two organizations focused on alerting and informing individuals with food allergies.
“Hostess Brands continually strives to produce the highest quality products that taste great. From time to time, this results in product formulations changes. Consumers should read the package label prior to purchase and consumption of any Hostess product,” said Andy Jacobs, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hostess Brands, LLC. “We are committed to allergen management and care deeply about producing snack cakes that are both safe and indulgence-worthy.”
