Night Guard Rodent-Proof Dock Leveler Sealers was designed to protect the small gap around dock levelers that otherwise creates an open invitation for small rodents. The product is constructed with solid steel and a rodent-proof gasket lined with Xcluder fill fabric — a patented combination of stainless steel and poly-fiber that is virtually impenetrable to rats, mice and insects. The Seals are placed on either side of the leveler when it is not in use, with no professional installation required. When the leveler is in use, the Guard is stored away easily on wall-mounted brackets.
Rodents can enter a building through an opening as small as 1/4 inch, which makes the tiny gap surrounding an unprotected loading dock door an easy target. This product creates a solid barrier against rats and mice, and will not rust or degrade over time.
