Cup Noodles maker Nissin Foods has launched its first line of frozen products, company officials announced.

The instant ramen company said that Kanzen Meal — named for the Japanese word for “complete” — offers a range of “frozen nutrient-dense comfort food.” The company’s debut frozen meals, officials added, also represent a “critical pillar” of its growth strategy.

"Kanzen Meal is well ahead of what other CPG brands have been able to achieve in addressing consumer desire for nutrient dense meals, especially with the increase in GLP-1 usage, while still delivering taste and convenience," Robert Little, Kanzen Meal’s chief executive, said in a statement.

The line features three varieties — “Fettucine Alfredo,” “Spaghetti Bolognese” and “Shrimp Teriyaki” — at suggested retail prices of between $6.99 and $7.99. The meals will roll out in select stores on the West Coast and in the Southeast before “rapid expansion” between this fall and the spring of 2026.
