V8, Spritz Society Launch 'Bloody Mary Spritz'

The canned cocktail features white wine, spices and V8-inspired ingredients.

Vegetable juice brand V8 announced Thursday that it has partnered with sparkling cocktail brand Spritz Society to launch a "first-of-its-kind" canned cocktail named the "Bloody Mary Spritz."

The companies said that the limited-edition flavor is made with white wine, ingredients inspired by V8's tomato juice blend, and a blend of spices.

Starting Thursday, shoppers will be able to buy a minimum of two four-packs on SpritzSociety.com. The companies said that orders would ship in time for the holidays — including New Year's Day, or "National Bloody Mary Day."

Each 12-ounce can has 4.5% alcohol by volume, 120 calories and 5 grams of sugar.

"We're excited to join forces with Spritz Society to launch this first-of-its-kind Bloody Mary Spritz," said Prabha Cheemalapati, vice president of beverages at V8 owner Campbell's. "Bringing this beverage to market showcases our continued dedication to innovation and collaboration, and this playful take on a Bloody Mary is sure to be a crowd-pleaser."
