
DENVER (AP) — The Simply Good Foods Co. on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $38.8 million.
The Denver-based company said it had net income of 38 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $0.44.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $0.35 cents.
The nutritional foods company posted revenue of $316.5 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $291.5 million.
