Charles Ross & Son Company (Hauppauge, NY) announced the ROSS FDA-1500 for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, adhesive, coating, composite and other industries.
Features:
- Maximum working capacity of 1500 gallons
- Dish-bottom stainless steel mix vessel with 50-psig dimpled heating/cooling jacket
- Dome-style cover includes multiple charging ports as well as hinged manway providing access for major ingredient additions and cleaning
- Capable of operation under vacuum up to 29.5”Hg
- Independently-driven agitators – 40 HP Two-Wing Anchor and 150 HP High Speed Disperser – are supported from heavy-duty agitator bridge
- Agitator shafts that are sealed via flexible Teflon lip seals with Viton elastomers
- Disperser shaft that runs up to 695 rpm and is equipped with two 20” diameter sawtooth blades
- Stationary lower blade
- Upper blade that is attached by means of adjustable hub
- Two-wing Anchor that is fabricated with triangular cross-section and is driven by 40 HP motor up to 20 rpm
- Both motors are explosion-proof, suitable for use in Class I, Div 1, Groups F & G hazardous environment
