Environment Maine, a lobbying group in the state, is urging the governor to sign a bill passed by the state's legislature last month that would force companies with a profit of more than $1 billion to disclose whether or not they use chemicals like BPA.

Environment Maine, a lobbying group in the state, is urging the governor to sign a bill passed by the state's legislature last month that would force companies with a profit of more than $1 billion to disclose whether or not they use chemicals like BPA. Emily Figdor, the group's director, said the bill would be

"one step closer to getting BPA out of the food supply" with "absolutely no burden on Maine businesses."
