PROCESS EXPO Coverage: New Millennium Speakers Announced

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) released the slate of speakers for the two Packaging in the New Millennium sessions, anchoring the packaging track of education during PROCESS EXPO, which is taking place at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

MCLEAN, Va. (FPSA) — The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) released the slate of speakers for the two Packaging in the New Millennium sessions, anchoring the packaging track of education during PROCESS EXPO at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Packaging in the New Millennium-Part I, taking place on Monday, November 4th will feature Pat Reynolds of Packaging World Magazine, and Gordon Bockner of Business Development Associates, who will discuss a wide range of technological improvements and innovations for the food and beverage industry such as high pressure pasteurization, microwave shielding, cook-in bags, new opportunities in rigid plastics and new uses of recycled content.

Packaging in the New Millennium- Part II will take place on Tuesday, November 5th and feature prominent foods processors discussing packaging innovations they see in their businesses, with a look to the near future where current packaging trends appear to be taking us. This session will be moderated by Joe Angel of Packaging World Magazine and include a panel with Judy Fischer of Sargento, Melissa Krutchen of General Mills and Nick Marsella of Byrne Dairy. 

These sessions are an integral part of the PROCESS EXPO UNIVERSITY educational program and are free of charge for all registered PROCESS EXPO attendees.
