Food plant and dairy processing supplier Nelson-Jameson is slated to hold a grand opening Wednesday for a newly overhauled facility in Northwest Pennsylvania.

The company’s 45,000-square-foot hub in Fairview, Pennsylvania, originally built as its fifth U.S. distribution hub just last year, bolster its operations and improve service to customers and partners on the East Coast, officials said.

The remodeling project sought to enhance capacity and functionality, as well as the experience for its employees. The site also features an adjacent 20-acre parcel of land that Nelson-Jameson is holding for future expansion.

“Our substantial investment in the new distribution center highlights our dedication to the area while prioritizing food quality and safety for our customers and consumers alike,” Nelson-Jameson President Mike Rindy said in a statement.
