Matson Navigation Co., the company responsible for the spill of 1,400 tons of molasses off the coast of Hawaii last week, says it will pay for all related cleanup of the area affected by the spill. Matt Cox, the company's CEO, was contrite on Monday while assuring the public the company will take responsibility for the spill, saying,
"We've let you down, and we're very sorry."
