Ferrero on Friday announced a slate of new products that it will outline at next week's Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis.
The company said the innovations rolling out over the next 12 months are intended to "help drive the next phase of growth for the company in North America." They include, in part, Dr Pepper-flavored Tic Tac mints, a white chocolate variant of its Crunch chocolate bar, and a Nutella spread flavored with peanuts — the first "taste innovation" for the latter brand in more than six decades.
"Developing Nutella and Ferrero Rocher products specifically for the North American market represents a defining moment in our company's history," Michael Lindsey, president and chief business officer of Ferrero North America, said in a statement. "These innovations will engage both loyal fans and new consumers, boosting our power brands and further solidifying our position as a category leader in North America."
The Sweets & Snacks Expo will be held in Indianapolis beginning Monday.
