Hot dog company Nathan's Famous on Thursday announced a giveaway of four-pack cans of New York tap water — allowing recipients to boil hot dogs "the 100% New York way."
The Smithfield Foods brand will open the contest for the limited-edition cans from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon in select states. Winners will receive a free four-pack along with a coupon for a free pack of its hot dogs.
"New York's tap water has been a cornerstone of the state's food culture for generations, and we know that if you want to try boiling your Nathan's Famous the true 100% New York way, New York tap water is the best way to make it," Annabelle Gladfelter, brand manager for Smithfield Foods, said in a statement.
The company did not disclose how many four-packs of New York's Famous Tap Water by Nathan's would be awarded.
