Fireball on Wednesday announced an effort to transform "tears into cheers" next month with a limited-edition whisky infused with "the tears of losing teams."

The product, named "Crierball," will be made at some of the most-anticipated professional and college rivalry games of the season. Fireball personnel will be stationed near each stadium in "Fireball Tear Collector" uniforms. Fans would then be asked to donate their tears — which would undergo a "meticulous, months-long process of sterilization and distillation" — to the creation of Crierball Whisky/

"Our brand is all about embracing that competitive spirit, but amping it up with a little more spice," Danny Suich, Fireball's global brand director, said in a statement. "We're on a mission to capture the soul of rivalries — a.k.a. the tears of losers — at this season's biggest games."
