Dichloran 18% Glycerol Agar is for the enumeration of viable osmophilic yeasts and xerophilic molds in food or animal feed products with a water activity of 0.95 or less. The addition of 18% glycerol results in yeast and molds that require a low water activity to enhance growth and colony development. The product is compliant with methods in the Bacteriological Analytical Manual.
