Flaking Rolls are designed to withstand high pressures and related heat when opposing rolls are used to crush grain into cereal flakes. The products offer an extended production life without shell cracking, weld cracking or leaky ends. Internal water passages are precision-engineered to create the best flake uniformity by properly controlling higher temperatures that result from the high-pressure nip process. Outer surfaces are ground to within .0002" TIR to assure better nip tolerances and more consistant flakes.
