The Unique Large Particulate (LP) mixproof valve is designed for the highest viscosity, particulate-laden food and beverage products, from viscous sauces, soups with vegetable solids, to juices or soft drinks containing pulp. The unit features 4" or 6" valve port sizes and a superior plug design which results in unobstructed, gentle product flows of the largest food particulate passage possible, up to 1.75" in diameter. The valve only has three elastomers in the isolation chamber to minimize risk of product contamination and is designed with a mix of radial and axial seals, a proven design to protect product. The unit is FDA-compliant to 145 psi. Enhanced clean-in-place (CIP) efficiencies eliminate the need for manual pipe swing connections and single seat valve arrangements often found in food and beverage plants. The product is 3A-compliant and meets all FDA double-block-and-bleed application requirements.
