CAP-100 series Capacitive Liquid Level Sensors offer accurate level sensing through the walls of a variety of bottle types including plastic, glass and fiberglass. These compact units are suited for dark, sticky or viscous fluids. The level monitoring is conducted from outside the sealed container. Easy to calibrate, they are available in both aqueous and non-aqueous versions and can be delivered with factory-preset sensitivity for quick installation for OEM orders. They may also be used as a proximity sensor to detect the presence of solids. The series is a non-contact/non-intrusive sensor that senses from outside non-metallic reservoirs or bottles with wall thicknesses to 0.39" (10 mm) thick without attaching to the bottle. The unit supports aqueous or non-aqueous liquid detection with a choice of wet- or dry-sink switch actuation.
