The Macrowave© RF Drying System employs volumetric heating to keep the temperature uniform throughout the depth of the material, avoiding surface discoloration while reducing the moisture content to within 0.5% of the targeted level. The drying process eliminates the long dwell times required by conventional surface heating methods. The system applies radio waves at a frequency of 40.68 MHz, Rapidly removing moisture from material at bed depths up to 6". Typically requiring one-fifth the floor space of conventional dryers, this system can reduce labor and energy costs by up to 60%.
