Tri-Fitt high-pressure fittings are for use for UHPLC and HPLC applications that require no leaks at pressure above 20,000 psi.The kit is designed with three separate parts, including a black carbon PEEK ferrule, a stainless steel triangular ferrule and a stainless steel nut. The PEEK ferrule distorts when the stainless steel nut tightens and the triangular ferrule clamps onto the tube at the same time. This process increases the sealing pressure. Both stainless steel parts are reusable, but the carbon-PEEK ferrule must be replaced if the fitting is removed or loosened. The kit contains all three parts and comes in packages of 10 kits.
