Company now offers Center Drives for their line of modular conveyor systems. The Center Drive option allows customers greater flexibility for conveyor layouts and conveyor function. The product allows customers to incorporate nosebar transfers at each end of the conveyor for smoother product transitions. They also free up valuable space when interfacing with existing or new equipment. In addition, Center Drive conveyors can be configured to allow customers to use both tabletop chain and mat-style belt conveyors in reversing applications. Manufactured in both mild steel and stainless steel, Center Drives are available for use on all MCE standard conveyor widths, from 3 ¼” to 24” wide. Center Drives can be placed almost anywhere on the conveyor, allowing tremendous layout flexibility. Due to the design of the Center Drive system, they can also be easily retrofitted into existing conveyor systems, allowing MCE customers to quickly reconfigure their existing equipment with minimal cost.
