Chicken Titan Launches New Beer

The honey double-citrus summer ale is brewed with traditional grilled chicken seasonings.

Perdue, the sixth largest poultry company in the U.S., is getting into the beer business.

This week, the fourth-generation, family-owned company launched Beer Can Chicken Beer.

The new beer is a honey double-citrus summer ale brewed with traditional grilled chicken seasonings, like rosemary, thyme and pink peppercorn.

The idea is to help backyard BBQ chefs cook the perfect beer can chicken.

The β€œtangy and juicy” brew is a collaboration with NYC-based Torch & Crown Brewing Company.

Beer can chicken is a staple for many around the Memorial Day holiday and Perdue wanted to make a beer perfect for "grilling and sipping."

Six-pack sales start May 22, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. for about $14.99.

So, that means one for grillin’ and five for sippin’.
