Rainforest Opens New Distribution Center in Florida

Fort Pierce, Florida – This week, food and beverage distributor Rainforest Distribution Corp. officially opened its new distribution center in Fort Pierce, Florida. The company serves more than 4,000 retailers across 22 states on the East Coast.

The 62,817-square-foot, Class A facility features full temperature-controlled capabilities, including ambient, refrigerated, and frozen temperature zones, which enables its direct-store-delivery network throughout the eastern United States.

The distribution center adds to Rainforest’s growing network of facilities operating across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

The facility is equipped to handle Rainforest’s more than 7,000 high-velocity and on-trend SKUs and support the company’s expertise in high-touch perishables, local and emerging brands, custom retail programs, and first-to-market concepts.
