Automation distributor Galco Industrial Electronics announced Thursday that it has acquired Ad-Tech CCI.
Ad-Tech, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is a distributor of industrial controls, automation components and identification products, including circuit breakers, PLCs and I/O devices, power supplies, relays, sensors and terminal blocks.
Galco officials said that the move strengthens its position in the Mid-Atlantic region and provides both companies with a broader range of solutions, engineering support and service.
Ad-Tech will continue operating under its established name and maintain its Harrisburg facility. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Joining Galco is an exciting step for our team, our suppliers and especially our customers," Ad-Tech President and co-owner Jim Kiessling said in the announcement. "Our customers will continue to work with the same knowledgeable people they know and trust, while gaining access to Galco's expanded product offering, online tools, engineering support and specialized services.”
