Nestlé announced Friday that its board has appointed the head of its Purina PetCare business in Europe to lead its operations in the Americas.
Jeff Hamilton will take over as regional CEO at the beginning of July, succeeding the retiring Steve Presley. Hamilton joined the company as a sales rep in 1991 and previously led Nestlé Canada, its U.S. foods division, and marketing efforts in the Asia, Oceania and Africa region.
"Jeff has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and a remarkable ability to inspire and motivate his teams," Nestlé CEO Laurent Freixe said in a statement. "We look forward to working with Jeff to drive our growth strategy in Zone AMS."
