The World's Sweetest Internship

The position at Mars Wrigley comes with a year's supply of candy, but the requirements are steep, starting with knowing all five flavors of the Skittles rainbow.

Mars Wrigley Confectionery, the world’s largest maker of chocolate, chewing gum, mints and fruity confections, recently posted an opening for what they're calling the World's Sweetest Internship. Located at the company's global headquarters on Goose Island in Chicago, the paid position lasts 8-12 weeks with the primary responsibility being to help "create #BetterMoments."

And while the professional experience will be extraordinary in terms of building a network and seeing behind-the-scenes production of the iconic brands, the biggest benefit might be that the position comes with a year's worth of candy. The position will also ask this lucky individual to "Produce a personalized batch of chewing gum and experience mouth-wateringly delicious flavor combinations from our product labs" and sample unreleased products at trips to manufacturing sites. More information is available on the company's site.

Qualified individuals must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age as of May 20, 2019, be able to distinguish between the chocolate used in SNICKERS vs. M&M’S and name all five fruity flavors from the Skittles rainbow.
