Water Supplement Recalled in the U.S. and Canada

Dimmitt, Texas-based McDaniel Life-Line LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots of its Life-Line Water. The company states that the water supplement can help provide energy and improve metabolic processes. It is being recalled because analysis found it to be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

This bacteria has been shown to bring about serious infections, including pneumonia and urinary tract infections. To date the company has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall. The product is packaged in one-gallon bottles and was distributed in the United States and Canada via internet sales. This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
