The Kraft Heinz Company has completed the acquisition of Primal Nutrition, LLC. The $200 million deal was first announced in November.

Primal Kitchen is primarily focused on "better-for-you" condiments, sauces and dressings, including mayonnaise, salad dressings and avocado oil, with growing product lines in the the healthy snack food category.

Primal Kitchen will join Kraft Heinz under Springboard, which was created as a platform to partner with founders and brands that the company feels could disrupt the food industry.

Leveraging Kraft Heinz’s assets and infrastructure, Primal Kitchen will operate as an autonomous company and continue to be led by its current leadership team.
