The AEGIS SGR™ Bearing Protection Ring™ protects the motor bearings from shaft currents induced by adjustable speed drives. Electro Static Technology guarantees that any new motor up to 100 HP/75 kW will not fail from electrical bearing fluting damage for the life of the motor. If electrically induced fluting damage occurs, the manufacturer will replace the motor bearings free of charge. The rings are specified by many HVAC, pump and conveyor manufacturers to mitigate adjustable speed drive circulating currents and prolong bearing life.
