Mounted Points

This line of mounted points features a laminated construction of nonwoven cotton fiber and abrasive grains that are pressed and bonded into barrel, bullet, conical, and round shapes which can be matched to fit the job. Providing smooth, controlled, chatter-free grinding action, they are ideally suited for blending corner welds inside stainless steel tanks and fabrications used in the chemical and food processing industries. Constantly revealing fresh abrasives as they grind and blend welds, the mounted points are available with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abra-sives, very-fine to coarse grain sizes, soft, medium, and hard bonds, and 1/4” and 1/8” shanks. Shapes included are industry standard A, B, and W shapes in a variety of sizes and they can also be dressed by the user.
