Wireless Local Energy Meter

The Wireless Local Energy Meter (Wi-LEM) remotely measures and monitors electricity, water and other metered utilities as well as temperature and humidity. Energy and water usage can be broken down to identify areas for efficiency improvement. The network consists of an energy meter node to measure consumption and transmit data, a mesh node that links with various components and a mesh gate, which provides data through a serial interface to a PC.
