OIL-GLO™ Series fluorescent dyes are now NSF Certified and registered to meet food-grade processing requirements for category codes HTX-2 and HX-2. HTX-2 chemicals are acceptable as an ingredient for use in heat transfer fluids where there is no possibility of food contact for use in and around food processing areas. HX-2 chemicals are acceptable as an ingredient for use in lubricants, also with no food contact. They can be used as lubricants, release agents or anti-rust films on equipment and machine parts in locations where there is no possibility of the lubricant or lubricated part contacting edible products. These dyes are used to find leaks in all oil-circulating fluid systems, including hydraulic and lubrication fluids, compressor oil, engine oil and gearbox oil.
