Refrigerated tea brand Milo’s announced Wednesday that it has opened a new distribution hub in Birmingham, Alabama.
The 150,000-square-foot facility, located near its manufacturing site in Bessemer, Alabama, employs 50 workers. It represents the company’s fourth major facility expansion since 2020, joining previous projects in Bessemer, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The company, originally founded in 1946, said it has invested $400 million over that span and more than tripled its production capacity. The company has also added more than 500 jobs in total.
"We don't slow down to let systems catch up; our 80-year-old startup just builds faster," Milo's Chair and CEO Tricia Wallwork said in a statement. "This distribution center isn't just about adding square footage — it's about improving safety and efficiency for our associates and logistics partners and deepening our commitment to our retail partners.”
