PPL Group LLC will hold an online auction later this month to sell off assets from an Upstate New York stainless steel fabricator, the company announced.
JBF Stainless, located in Frankfort, New York, produced tanks used in the food and dairy industries, as well as in the cosmetics, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. Its lineup included fermentation tanks, mixing tanks, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and custom tanks ranging from 50 gallons to 50,000 gallons.
The company was sold to ICC Group in 2024.
The auction, PPL officials said, will feature a “comprehensive lineup of heavy fabrication machinery,” and offers “a rare opportunity for tank and vessel fabricators to acquire metal forming and tank fabrication equipment.”
“This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire late model, well maintained fabrication equipment from a long-time industry leading tank fabricator,” PPL’s Gary Slager said in a statement.
The auction is scheduled for July 23. Interested parties, the company noted, can make offers to PPL for select assets prior to the auction.
