Lubrication Engineers (LE) announced its 75th anniversary. Founded in 1951 by three lubricant salesmen in Fort Worth, Texas, LE has grown into a global partner for industrial organizations, delivering lubricants and reliability solutions that help optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime and lower total cost of ownership while supporting sustained company growth.
The company manufactures a full line of industrial and automotive lubricants in the U.S., formulated with highly refined or synthetic base oils and proprietary additives.
Operating under an ISO 9001 Certified Quality System, the company also provides reliability services and products such as oil analysis, filtration equipment, breathers, automatic lubrication systems and other tools designed to extend the life of both lubricants and machinery.
Many of these solutions are offered through LE’s “X Products” line, allowing customers to implement complete lubrication reliability programs.
In recent years, LE has accelerated its growth strategy through a series of acquisitions, including MicroPoly and Easy Bar in 2021 and Royal Purple Industrial, RSC Bio Solutions and Swepco in 2025, expanding its product portfolio, technical capabilities and presence in key industrial and environmentally focused markets.
Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, where it operates its manufacturing facility and technology center, LE supports customers through warehouse distribution in Tennessee and California and an international network spanning more than 60 countries. Its sales model includes independent consultants across the U.S., employee representatives and a Lubrication Reliability Solutions (LRS) team serving large and strategic accounts in industries such as power generation, food and beverage, mining, paper, transportation and manufacturing.
