Anheuser-Busch plans to invest $9 million in its brewery in upstate New York, company officials announced earlier this month.

The Budweiser brewer said the project would, in part, expand the Baldwinsville, New York, plant’s production capacity for NĂĽtrl seltzer, Skimmers hard iced tea and other “Beyond Beer” brands.

The funding would also go toward equipment maintenance and update the plant’s refrigeration units.

The project is part of an overall initiative to spend $300 million on Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. facilities this year. The brewing giant said that it has spent more than $2 billion on those locations over the past five years.

“Investments in our facilities like our Baldwinsville brewery help us to enhance our operations while also helping to create and sustain jobs and drive economic growth,” Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth said in a statement.
